“So far, the Clover is still something of a cult object, with just over 200...”
–  My favorite local gourmet coffee parlor Novo Coffee has a Clover. It’s no different in flavor than a french press, but just being able to get a cup of fresh roasted, ground in front of me, brewed while I wait, hand-picked organic Ethiopian, Panamanian, and of course my favorite Sumatran,...

Very interesting article about how the ability to tote our entire digital lives in our pocket exposes us to extremely invasive yet very legal search by law enforcement. And I didn’t know airport security’s right to search your laptop included powering it on and searching it’s contents. Yikes. Would they let you get through if you encrypted the whole drive and refused to provide...

and after it was up for like, a month, it came out that half of the paintings were fakes!
oh snap
And at first I was all, damn. Shouldn't someone have caught on to that right away?
Then I realized, it wasn't that big a surprise
After all,

Heath Ledger: The Joker is Gone →
“It also makes us wonder if The Dark Knight will now achieve the same cult status as The Crow, another production which lost its gothy anti-hero (Brandon Lee) before the movie opened.” -io9 I think not. Brandon Lee wasn’t previously most famous for a cowboy-poking role in Brokeback Mountain, and Ledger didn’t perpetuate any Hollywood legacy of mysterious familial deaths....

The software turns one computer into many, allowing a single computer box to support multiple users at the same time. All you need to do is connect an extra monitor, USB keyboard and mouse to your run-of-the-mill computer box, and the Desktop Multiplier software will make it possible for two people to work on the same PC at the same time.

– Awesome idea. Expensive at $99 for 2Gb (I just picked upa 4Gb for $35), but it’s the novelty that costs. Finally digtal cameras are starting to catch up with the web. I’m sure there are fancy cameras with built in wi-fi that do this already (maybe without the auto-uploading to hosting...
